Faulty Pcs:

 There are many Faults in Pcs, We were provided with a number of PC’s with some faults and the purpose is to identify the fault position, repair it, and find its cause and the solution to correct it.

1. The steps that you followed to identify the fault:

First of all I turned on the pc and found that the computer doesn’t open due to failure of detection of hard disk and the beep sound was coming from the motherboard.

2. The Cause of the fault:

The cause of this fault is that the Ram was not inserted properly and the hard disk cable was connected to the DVD-ROM.

3. The steps taken to remedy the fault:

The steps that I took to remedy this fault are that I first of all take out the RAM from the motherboard and reinserted it properly. I also take out the cable from the DVD-ROM and insert it.

4. The success or failure of the repair:

The repair was successful. By the detailed examination of all the parts of computer and the better steps taken to solve the error, the PC was fully repaired.
